Ballycommon Technology and Training Centre Ltd, in conjunction with the Health Services Executive, provides a “Meals on Wheels” service for people in Ballycommon, Cappincur and surrounding areas.
Would you like to join us for a cuppa and a chat? Whatever your age, interests, or abilities, you can enjoy pastimes that make you laugh, lose track of time, or feel like a young at heart.
Ballycommon Technology and Training Centre Ltd has established a Friendly Call Service in the area. We are inviting all Senior Members of the community to sign up for this free and confidential service.
About US
Ballycommon Technology and Training Centre CLG is a community owned business which was established in 1999 in order to provide IT and Soft Skills Training to members of the local and wider community. We are located just outside of Tullamore.
Officially opened in March 2000 the centre has gone from strength to strength with three IT and Soft Skill Facilitator/Tutors forming part of the total of ten employees currently employed by the centre. All our tutors are accredited trainers. The centre is an ICDL Accredited test centre
We also offer Safety Training such as Safepass, Manual Handling and First Aid Responder.
We also have remote working facilities available for short term or long term hire.

Our extensive selection includes Health & Safety Courses such as Basic First Aid, First Aid Responder, First Aid Responder Refresher, Fire Marshall, Manual Handling, Safe Pass, Working at Heights, Abrasive Wheels, and Asbestos Awareness.
For those looking to enhance their Digital & IT Skills, we offer courses in Basic Computers (QQI Level 3), Digital/Internet Skills, and Smart Tech.
Our Construction & Trades Courses include Retrofit – Skills for Work, Home Repair & Maintenance, and Basic DIY, equipping participants with essential practical knowledge.
Additionally, we provide Workplace & Business Skills training, including the Barista Essentials course, to support career development across various industries.
